Cui Qiming said: “I am very glad to meet with Belarusian friends and celebrate together yet another anniversary since the day the People’s Republic of China was founded. In the last 67 years, particularly in 38 years of reforms and openness China has accomplished a lot and has made a historical leap to increase its social productive forces, the overall power of the state and living standards of the nation in addition to making an important contribution to peace and world development.”

The Ambassador underlined that 2016 begins the 13^th five-year term. China President Xi Jinping has united the nation for hard work and state party activities in various spheres have been stepped up. “China remains the key driver of global economic growth,” noted Cui Qiming.

The Ambassador drew attention to the importance of the G20 summit that took place in Hangzhou in early September. The event reinvigorated the global economy.

The Ambassador stated that thanks to personal attention of China President Xi Jinping and Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko Belarusian-Chinese relations developed at a faster pace in 2016 across the board. “The sides continue solidly supporting each other on vital interests and key matters. The content of relations of comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries is becoming richer and stronger,” the diplomat is convinced. “Our relations have become an example of relations between two countries in the modern world.”
