MINSK, 15 December (BelTA) – The exchange of highest-level visits has served as a catalyst for intensifying Belarusian-Iranian relations, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said during an expanded meeting with Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov, BelTA has learned.
The Iranian foreign minister noted that the two countries have maintained frequent contacts this year, including within international forums, which has significantly contributed to deepening their cooperation.
“Relations between Belarus and Iran are exceptionally close and friendly, and there are no issues between our nations,” Abbas Araghchi emphasized.


He emphasized the great importance of the exchange of highest-level visits, which have produced fruitful agreements and served as starting points for deeper cooperation. “I am pleased to see these agreements being put into practice,” Abbas Araghchi noted.
The Iranian foreign minister also commended the outcomes of the recent meeting of the intergovernmental trade and economic commission, held in Tehran.
“Our countries consistently maintain productive consultations, including on regional matters, and have also established cooperation on international platforms,” the Iranian foreign minister concluded.
