Ambassador: Belarus’ Embassy in Georgia will help advance Belarusian business to Georgian market

Ambassador: Belarus’ Embassy in Georgia will help advance Belarusian business to Georgian market

TBILISI, 1 September (BelTA) – The opening of the Belarusian embassy in Georgia will help the Belarusian business to secure a footing on the Georgian market, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Georgia Mikhail Myatlikov told BelTA.

“We are currently searching for the right premises to locate the embassy. I am confident that we will find it with the help of our friends. The embassy is a platform for our business in order to secure a footing here, in Georgia,” noted Mikhail Myatlikov.

In his words, Belarusian companies have already been actively supplying their products to the Georgian market. “Moreover, among the recent openings is the first assembly plant, the first store of Belarusian products. Commercial contracts will be signed today. The abovementioned proves that we will be expanding our presence on the Georgian market,” the Ambassador stressed.

Belarus’ national exposition in Georgia opened in Tbilisi on 1 September. According to Mikhail Myatlikov, all those wishing to display their products did not make it into one booth. “We have presented almost every economic sector. A business forum and a business matchmaking session will take place on 1 September. I hope that this event will add an additional impetus to our trade and economic relations. I think we will see the results by the end of the year,” Mikhail Myatlikov said.
