VITEBSK, 12 April (BelTA) – The 7^th international forum Innovations. Investments. Prospects will be held in Vitebsk on 17-18 May, BelTA learned from the Vitebsk Oblast Marketing Center.

This year the forum will be held under the motto Vitebsk Oblast 2018 as a meeting place for innovative demand and supply to promote business initiative. The Vitebsk concert hall will host the discussion of business developments and programs, energy saving technologies to improve the environment, infrastructure, transport, healthcare, finances and the ways to implement them.

“Particular attention will be paid to the problems of small and medium-sized business. These are, first of all, the conditions to support entrepreneurship by the state, change conceptual approaches to control and supervision, increase the availability of financial resources, create new tax terms and conditions to involve large groups of the population in business environment,” the organizers noted.

The event will be divided into two blocks: a business program and an exhibition of technologies that will feature innovative companies, industrial enterprises, scientific institutes and universities. As in the previous year, this year the forum will welcome companies from Russia, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Germany and China.

The forum is organized by the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee, the Vitebsk Oblast Marketing Center, and the administration of the Vitebsk free economic zone.
