The guest was updated on the construction works at one of Belarus’ landmark facilities by Architecture and Construction Minister Anatoly Cherny.

Raubichi as a meeting place for Andrei Turchak and Anatoly Cherny was chosen for a reason. The previous talks of the Belarusian Architecture and Costruction Minister with the Pskov authorities highlighted possible participation of Belarusian construction organizations in similar projects at the basis of the sports and recuperation center Yunost. In the future the center will host world-level biathlon competitions.

On 1 June Minsk played host to the second joint meeting of Belarus-Pskov Oblast working group on cooperation development. The parties discussed issues related to the participation of Belarusian builders in the designing and construction of housing and social facilities in Pskov Oblast, possible deliveries of MAZ passenger vehicles (buses and coaches) for Pskovpassazhiravtotrans, the supplies of lifting equipment of OAO Velikoluksky Pilot Machinery Plant for Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant, low-voltage installation and electrical equipment of OOO Power Machines – Rheostat Plant for the Minsk metro service. The Architecture and Construction Ministry of Belarus was instructed to look into the possibilities for Belarusian construction organizations to participate in designing and construction of economy-class housing, industrial and healthcare facilities, social, engineering and technical infrastructure, sport, dwelling and public buildings, kindergartens, schools and board schools in Pskov Oblast. Belarusian builders may also take part in the construction of livestock breeding complexes and the development of a wholesale depot of building materials with the participation of OAO Belstroimaterialy in Pskov Oblast with the further sales to other regions of Russia.
