During the opening of the exhibition Minister Counselor at the Belarusian Embassy in Russia Yuri Yaroshevich stressed that the pictures are vivid and strikingly accurate. “Belarus’ beauty, its boundless spaces, beautiful nature and unforgettable historic flair are heart and soul of the Belarusian nation,” the diplomat said. According to him, it is very important that such exhibitions are held the year that marks the 25th anniversary of Belarus-Russia relations. They prove once again that Belarus and Russia have strong political, economic, humanitarian, and cultural ties.

The exhibition makes part of the large-scale social and cultural project “Artist’s impression of the world” organized by Vyacheslav Zarenkov’s foundation “Creative World”. The project features a series of plein air painting of Russian painters in Europe and foreign painters in Russia. The result is over one thousand pictures and more than 20 exhibitions throughout the world.
