Nine countries to take part in Minsk Summer School of Belarusian Language Studies

MINSK, 28 June (BelTA) – Over 70 representatives of nine countries will come to Minsk to take part in the International Summer School of Belarusian Language Studies which will kick off at the National Institute of Higher Education in Minsk on 30 June, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian State University.

The school will welcome representatives of Australia, India, Japan, Portugal, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Germany and China. They will be offered various communication events to analyze the language, historical and cultural heritage of Belarus. The program of the school will include 48 class hours, special courses on different aspects of language, history and culture. The training will be multidisciplinary in nature. Students will be offered interactive lessons, master classes and educational excursions.

The guests are expected to visit the National Art Museum of Belarus, the State Literary-Memorial Museum of Yakub Kolas, and other places of interest.

The International Summer School of Belarusian Language Studies will run until 15 July. The event has been organized by the Youth Policy Department of the National Institute of Higher School and Belarusian State University.
