Minsk to host national culture events in June-September

MINSK, 15 May (BelTA) - In June-September Minsk will host 15 events of national cultures, BelTA learned from the press service of the Minsk City Hall.

The series of events in the Upper Town will open with the Swedish culture event on 3 June. In June Minskers will see more of the Russian, Kazakh and Lithuanian culture. The events will be held on 10, 17 and 24 June. The day of Finnish culture is scheduled for 29 July, Korean culture 5 August, Azerbaijan culture 12 August, Ukrainian 19 August, Armenian 26 August and the Indian culture day for 27 August.

The September events calendar will feature the Georgian day on 2 September, Italian on 3 September, Polish on 16 September, Jewish on 17 September, and Greek day on 23 September.

The tradition to hold national culture events in the historic part of Minsk originated last year. Minsk residents got familiar with the cultures of Armenia, Poland, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Israel, Korea and Georgia.
