MINSK, 5 January (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed condolences over the passing of People’s Artist of Belarus Lyudmila Yefimova, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“She used all her spiritual energy, talent and inspiration to promote music art. Thanks to her creative activities she made an invaluable contribution to the history of modern culture and Belarus’ spiritual legacy,” the message of condolences reads.

Alexander Lukashenko stressed that under the leadership of Lyudmila Yefimova the Grigory Shirma State Academic Chapel Choir became famous and very popular in Belarus and abroad.
