Logoisk among most popular CIS ski resorts for Russia tourists

MINSK, 1 October (BelTA) - Logoisk is in the top three most popular ski resorts for Russian tourists in the CIS, BelTA learned from the Russian online hotel booking service Oktogo.ru.

The Oktogo.ru rating is based on early online hotel bookings by Russians for the Christmas holidays from 1 to 10 January 2016 by tourists travelling independently, not through travel agencies.

According to the statistics, communication in the mother tongue, visa-free entry, a high level of service, beautiful nature and affordable prices are the reasons why more Russian tourists come to visit Belarusian resorts Silichi and Logoisk which are third and tenth in the rating. The top-10 most popular ski resorts for Russian tourists also includes Chimbulak (Kazakhstan), Tsaghkadzor (Armenia), Karakol (Kyrgyzstan), Gudauri (Georgia), Bukovel (Ukraine), Bakuriani (Georgia), Altai Alps (Kazakhstan), Chimgan (Uzbekistan).

According to Oktogo.ru, Silichi and Logoisk are the most budget ski resorts in CIS. Daily spending is around $47 on average. The most expensive is Chimbulak ($95). One-day spending includes the cost of stay in a hotel, a dinner in a cafй and a ski pass.

In terms of transport access Chimbulak is the most convenient (just 25km away from Almaty). It is followed by Logoisk and Silichi (35km away from Minsk) and Tsaghkadzor (60km away from Yerevan).
