Belarus introduces free visa regime with Israel

MINSK, 26 November (BelTA) – The free visa regime was introduced between Belarus and Israel on 26 November, BelTA informs.

The Belarus-Israel intergovernmental agreement on the abolition of visas for holders of national passports was signed in Minsk on 19 September 2014. The document regulates the issues related to the introduction of the 90-day free visa travel for citizens of Belarus and Israel who are the holders of national passports (except for diplomatic and service passports) within six months from the date of the first entry.

The parties also agreed to reserve the right to deny the entry to citizens considered undesirable or reduce the time of their stay in the country.

This one-year agreement can be automatically prolonged for further one-year periods until one of the signatories sends a written notice through diplomatic channels declaring the wish to terminate the validity of the document. In this case, the document is terminated on the 90th day from the date of receipt of the written notification.
