Large attendance expected for Belarus Fashion Week 2017MINSK, 18 October (BelTA) - About 15,000 people are expected to attend Belarus Fashion Week 2017, Piotr Arushanyants, Director of the Entrepreneurship Department at the Belarusian Economy Ministry, told a press conference in Minsk, BelTA has learned.

“The attendance of this year’s fashion week is expected at about 15,000. These will be representatives of business, the fashion industry. This year the Economy Ministry will provide its most active support to the event. The program will include the roundtables on the development of the industry, business matchmaking events, and master classes by international experts in clothes industry,” Piotr Arushanyants noted.

Belarus Fashion Week will be held in Minsk on 24-29 October with the support of the Economy Ministry and the Belarusian Fund of Financial Support of Entrepreneurs. Belarus Fashion Week is an international professional forum aimed at promoting domestic fashion designers. It has been held regularly since autumn 2010.

The international forum “Fashion is my Profession” is scheduled for 27-29 October. Professionals from different countries will share their experience and exchange views on different areas of fashion business. This year, more than a dozen experts from Italy, Germany, UK, France and Canada will discuss pressing topics in the field of journalism, digital transition, business protection in the era of social networks and will share the B2B basics and personal experience in building a brand.
