Cultural Center Vitebsk to mark its 65th anniversary

VITEBSK, 20 January (BelTA) – Guests of the Cultural Center Vitebsk will be invited to attend an exhibition-presentation of its creative collectives in the form of an excursion and a gala concert to mark the 65th anniversary of the center on 28 January, the organizers of the events told BelTA.

The main venue for the celebrations will be the concert hall Vitebsk, a subsidiary of the center. 18 creative groups holding honorary titles will present themselves in an interactive form. The heads of the collectives assure that every visitor would be taught to sing, dance and make flower compositions. Excursions to get familiar with the exhibition-presentation will be formed every 15 minutes throughout the day. Five guides will take visitors around the center to show what it is proud of.

In the evening the center will host a friends-dedication concert. According to producer Vladislava Tsviki, it is an unusual form of the anniversary event as the concert will be for the workers and veteran workers of the sector. The concert will be attended by not only the center’s friends from Belarus, but also from Israel, Sweden, Latvia, Italy and Russia.

The concert will feature only live music and instruments, a number of premieres, including a song dedicated to Vitebsk, Belarus’ most creative city.

The events in the Cultural Center Vitebsk will open a series of celebrations in the region to mark the Year of Culture in Belarus.
