The photo exhibition will open in the Minsk-based art gallery University of Culture in the Belarusian State Culture and Arts University on 13 April. Minsk residents and visitors will be able to appreciate the 30 photo works on display till 23 April. Photos taken by the talented Belarusian photographer Semyon Shevtsov in Bragin District in the last ten years make up a considerable part of the exposition. Some of the photos were selected after the plein air session that took place in Bragin District in April 2015 as part of the international technical aid project “Developing the potential of family clubs in the Chernobyl zone for the sake of improving the social and economic situation”. The four-year project is being implemented by the public organization Green Cross Belarus with financial assistance of the European Union.

As the next step the exhibition will move on to Bragin to open there on 24 April. The exposition will grow larger with photos taken by the artists that took part in the plein air session. The photos taken by professionals and amateurs are expected to travel then to other populated localities in Bragin District and Belarus’ south.
