Belteleradiocompany to shoot episode for Naviband’s Eurovision postcardMINSK, 14 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian TV and Radio Company (Belteleradiocompany) will shoot an episode for the Eurovision 2017 postcard for the duo Naviband, BelTA learned from the company’s press service.

This year, TV companies of all the Eurovision participating countries will take part in filming the postcards. The organizers will shoot the second part of the postcards in Kiev in May. The postcards will be themed around sincere emotions of the contestants who will be in the spotlight at the major European music event.

This decision has been made during the meeting of the delegations of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest participating countries which is underway in the Ukrainian capital on 13 and 14 March. The Belarusian delegation submitted to the organizers a complete package of documents and materials necessary for the participation in the international contest.

The organizers presented to the meeting participants the concept of the show and the stage design. The delegations were also offered a tour of the International Exhibition Center that will host the contest.

Belteleradiocompany representatives held talks with the Eurovision technical support team to discuss the details of Naviband’s performance. Besides, they met with the delegations of the countries that will also appear in the second semi-final to consider the program of mutual promotion.

Kiev will play host to Eurovision 2017 from 9 to 13 May. The first semi-final will take place on 9 May, with the second on 11 May and the grand final on 13 May. Naviband will perform in the second part of the second semi-final. Apart from Belarus, the second semi-final event will also feature Macedonia, Malta, the Netherlands, Serbia, Denmark, Russia, Romania, Hungary, Austria, Ireland, Switzerland, Estonia, Israel, Bulgaria, San Marino, Lithuania, Croatia, and Norway.

Ukraine will host the international contest for the second time. This year’s edition of Eurovision will bring together representatives of 43 countries.

The shows will be broadcast live on Belarus 1 and the international satellite channel Belarus 24.
