Belarusian Industrial Forum kicks off in Minsk

MINSK, 29 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian Industrial Forum opened at the Minsk Indoor Football Center on 29 May, BelTA learned from Expoforum, an organizer of the event.

The forum will stay open through 1 June and will include more than 50 events. The international exhibition TechInnoProm, the key event of the forum, will be themed around the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) and will include such sections as Additive Technologies; 3D Printers; Aerospace Technologies; Virtual Reality Technologies, Artificial Intelligence; Robotics. Industrial Robotic Manipulators. Robocars, Unmanned Vehicles, and so on. TechInnoProm will feature both traditional industries sections: Industrial Equipment, Technologies and Products, Energy in Industry, Energy Saving, Environment and also new ones such as Digital Transformation of the Industrial Sector of Economy, Business and Society; Development of the Internet of Things (IoT); Cloud Services.

The Industry Ministry jointly with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Minsk City Hall will arrange an exposition dedicated to passenger vehicle, electric vehicles and automotive components. Belkommunmash and Stadler Minsk will put up joint expositions, both in the pavilion and outdoor, of modern and prospective vehicles and systems such as electro buses, high-speed trams, trolleybuses, hybrid buses, railway rolling stock, metro cars.

TechInnoProm will feature Belarusian producers and also the collective exposition of Sverdlovsk Oblast, Kurgan Oblast, Pskov Oblast and Bryansk Oblast and the city of Novosibirsk of the Russian Federation. Manufacturers from China, Sweden and Ukraine will also attend the expo.

TechInnoProm’s business program will include 23 events. The program will feature the plenary session “Belarus is the Place for West-East Integration”. Further development of the country’s industrial potential, the international symposium “Technologies. Equipment. Quality”, and the international symposium “Prospects for Additive Technologies in the Republic of Belarus”.

Representatives of German companies will attend the expo with the aim of establishing contacts and cooperation in the Automation, Robotics and Digitization sector. They are set to hold talks as part of a business matchmaking session, visit Belarusian companies and the 2nd German-Belarusian Forum Industry 4.0. A series of interesting presentations will be held as part of a fair of innovations.

The industrial forum will comprise three exhibitions: Chemistry. Oil and Gas; Professional Welding; and Plastekh. The forum is held under the aegis of the Belarusian government. The organizing committee is led by Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko.

The Belarusian Industrial Forum has been annually held since 1997. Over the time the forum has been recognized internationally as a demonstration site for advanced technologies and innovations in the industry. The exhibition has been attended by big-name companies from more than 30 countries. Every year the exposition features 200 to 300 organizations, with about 150 companies being permanent exhibitors.
