MINSK, 4 August (BelTA) – Belarus claimed 15 medals at the European Deaf Athletics Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Sport and Tourism Ministry of Belarus.

The Belarusian national team collected four gold, six silver and five bronze medals. Champion titles were clinched by Elena Terentyeva (400m and 800m running), Alexander Chernyak (800m running), Margarita Gralko (triple jump).

Belarus finished third in the unofficial medal table behind Russia and Ukraine. Partaking in the competitions were 117 athletes from 19 European countries.
