Belarus win Team-Relay Mix silver at 2021 World Modern Pentathlon Championships

MINSK, 15 June (BelTA) – Belarus’ Anastasiya Prokopenko and Ilya Palazkov won the Team-Relay Mix silver at the UIPM 2021 World Modern Pentathlon Championships,BelTA learned from the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus.

The Belarusian athletes scored a total of 1,422 points. The event was won by South Korea (1,432 points). Bronze went to Germany (1,415 points).

Belarus won four medals at the world championships in Cairo, Egypt. Anastasiya Prokopenko claimed gold in the individual event.

Volha Silkina and Iryna Prasiantsova clinched the Team-Relay Women gold. The Belarusians also won the Team Women bronze placing behind Germany and Hungary.
