MINSK, 19 December (BelTA) – A ceremony to hoist the flag of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will take place in Minsk on 20 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the ministry.

Taking part in the ceremony will be Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei, honorary guests and former diplomatic workers, representatives of the ministry, and the diplomatic corps accredited in Belarus.

The official heraldic symbols of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were approved by Decree No.411 of 16 October 2018 to preserve and develop the Belarusian diplomatic traditions, enhance the prestige of the diplomatic service.
