MINSK, 27 November (BelTA) – Belarus number one Aryna Sabalenka took to the court of the Children’s Olympic Tennis School Smena to host a free kids’ tennis clinic on 27 November, BelTA has learned.

Taking part in the event were more than 150 boys and girls aged 8-10. Everyone could take a photo with the famous tennis player and ask her for an autograph.

“It is great to see so many children taking up tennis. Some of them will probably become top players in the new future. I hope they will succeed in their professional career,” Aryna Sabalenka said.

Aryna Sabalenka is world number 13. Last season she won a number of WTA awards, including the Breakthrough of the Month, Player of the Month and Newcomer of the Year awards.
