MINSK, 4 August (BelTA) – Belarus’ Andrei Vasilevsky and Hans Podlipnik Castillo of Chile have advanced to the Generali Open semifinal in Kitzbuhel, Austria, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian-Chilean tandem saw off Argentine’s Horacio Zeballos and Julio Peralta of Chile 3-6, 6-3, 10-8 to secure a place in the semifinal.

Earlier, Max Mirnyi of Belarus and Austria’s Philipp Oswald reached the semifinal stage.

In Lexington world number 241 Vera Lapko cruised to the quarterfinal after defeating New Zealand’s Erin Routliffe (1164) 6-4, 6-1.
