MINSK, 13 November (BelTA) – Vladimir Semashko has been appointed Belarus' ambassador to Russia. The decision was announced by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 13 November, BelTA has learned.
Vladimir Semashko will also be Belarus’ plenipotentiary representative to the CIS Economic Council and the CSTO, Belarus’ special representative on integration to the Belarus-Russia Union State, EAEU, CIS and CSTO.
In 2014-2018 Vladimir Semashko was Belarus’ deputy premier. Before that, he had worked as first deputy premier. He was responsible for manufacturing and energy sectors in the government.
