Turkmenistan president arrives in Belarus on official visit

MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) - Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has arrived in Belarus on an official visit, BelTA has learned.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will stay in Belarus till 12 May. It is expected that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will hold talks with his Turkmenistan counterpart. The two leaders will hold a one-on-one meeting and an extended meeting with the participation of the representatives of the two delegations.

They will also discuss a number of landmark projects.

A number of bilateral documents will be signed in the presence of the two leaders.

Alexander Lukashenko and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will also take part in the opening ceremony of the Turkmenistan Embassy in Belarus.
