Order of Mother conferred on 240 Belarusian women

MINSK, 7 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed Decree No. 358 on the conferment of the Order of Mother, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The award for giving birth to and raising five and more children has been bestowed upon women from all walks of life, including employees of manufacturing enterprises, the financial sector, housing and utilities, the agricultural sector, trade and communications, education, healthcare, social services, culture and sport, mass media as well as self-employed entrepreneurs and homemakers.

Among them are director of the Malorita District Culture Center Olga Berchuk, worker of kindergarten No. 6 from Beloozersk Olga Kuznetsova, milker of the agricultural enterprise Mankovichi, Stolin District, Natalya Sen, specialist of banking services center No. 216 of Belarusbank from Polotsk Yulia Pavlovich, software operator of Zhlobin garment factory Olga Babich, teacher and coach of the Gomel Oblast Olympic training center Yulia Grabko, worker of Krasnoarmeiskaya poultry factory, Korelichi District, Tatyana Us, designer of OAO Mogotex Olga Burak, senior veterinarian, head of the Bobruisk District veterinary station Irina Gutyrchik, confectioner of OOO Lyuba Pech Tatyana Kopot, reporter of the Rodny Krai newspaper from Logoisk, Valentina Menyailo.

The Order of Mother has been bestowed upon 240 women from Brest Oblast, Vitebsk Oblast, Gomel Oblast, Grodno Oblast, Mogilev Oblast, Minsk Oblast.
