Myasnikovich: Belagro 2016 showcases Belarus as a highly developed industrial country
MINSK, 7 June (BelTA) – Belagro 2016 shows that Belarus is a highly developed industrial country with an advanced mechanical engineering industry, new high technologies, Chairman of the Council of the Republic Mikhail Myasnikovich said when opening the Belarusian Agro-Industrial Week and the 3rd Forum of Regions of Russia and Belarus, BelTA has learned.
Belagro 2016 is co-located with the Forum of Regions. The expo shows not only new developments in the field of agriculture. “We want to show that Belarus is a highly developed industrial country with an advanced mechanical engineering, new high technologies,” Mikhail Myasnikovich said.
The agenda of the Forum of Regions is dedicated to social and cultural issues. In this context, Belagro runs an exposition to showcase the modern educational technology, advances in medicine and science.
“Belagro 2016 is not only a demonstration of modern samples. This is the venue to discuss new projects, to conclude commercial contracts,” Mikhail Myasnikovich noted.
Belarus has upgraded its meat and dairy industries, other companies. The country is ready to share its experience with partners.
The Belarusian side intends to do everything possible to create the most comfortable conditions for the exhibitors, Mikhail Myasnikovich assured. He added that Belagro has become a traditional event and attracts the attention of not only professionals but also ordinary citizens, and guests from many countries.
