MINSK DISTRICT, 5 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko took part in a biathlon race together with the country’s well-known Olympians at the Raubichi National Olympic Center on 4 March, BelTA informs.
Taking part in the competitions apart from the head of state were also his son Nikolai, president’s spokeswoman Natalia Eismont, Olympic champions and medalists Darya Domracheva, Irina Krivko, Dinara Alimbekova, Aleksei Aidarov and Kseniya Sankovich.
Raubichi also hosted the Snow Sniper junior biathlon finals. A total of 168 young athletes competed for medals in three age groups.
Among the medal winners was also Belarus president’s son Nikolai Lukashenko who took bronze in the sprint and won silver in the mixed relay.
