No matter how old we are, we value the opinion of our mothers because they rejoice at our successes, support us when we suffer setbacks, and are emotionally involved in everything we do. Their loving parental care does not depend on time or distance,” the message of greetings reads.

The head of state noted that the mission of the mother is the most important and responsible one. “To give birth to a child and bring up a good person is a great mission. First of all, mothers teach their children moral values, the feelings of justice and love for the Fatherland. A person protected by mother’s love and prayers is happy. Therefore, all of us must thank our dear mothers today,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

The President thanked Belarusian mothers and grandmothers for the gift of life they gave to us, endless patience, commitment and warmth of hearth and home.

May the deeds of your children and grandchildren make you happy, Alexander Lukashenko said and wished Belarusian mothers health and happiness for the years to come.
