Lukashenko: Belarusian socially oriented state respects diligent people

MINSK, 6 November (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent October Revolution Day greetings to all Belarusians, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

For many people October Revolution Day celebrated on 7 November is an important holiday, a symbol of labor heroism of the first Soviet years, the military feat of people committed during the Great Patriotic War, fantastic achievements in all industries in the post-war period, the message of greetings reads. “We learn priceless lessons from the past. Moral ideals which helped our predecessors cope with any difficulties and succeed in spite of the most difficult circumstances are still important today. Our country has very ambitious goals to significantly raise the living standards of people, build the economy of knowledge and new technologies, ensure Belarus’ competitiveness in the world,” the head of state said.

“We are building a socially oriented state which respects hardworking people, promotes the ideals of equality and social justice, commitment to mutual understanding and unity for the benefit of our Homeland,” the message of greetings reads.

Alexander Lukashenko wished compatriots health, happiness and success in all undertakings.
