MINSK, 8 October (BelTA) – Belarusian judoka Artyom Kolosov won gold in the 55kg weight category at the 3rd Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian defeated the French and Austrian athletes in the preliminary round. In the final Artyom Kolosov beat the Mongolian judoka to claim gold.

“It was my goal to win at the Youth Olympic Games. Opponents are strong, especially in the final,” Artyom Kolosov told the press service of the National Olympic Committee.
