CIS Games: Belarus’ Ivan Kazak wins air pistol event

MINSK, 7 August (BelTA) – On the second day of the 2^nd CIS Games Ivan Kazak of Belarus claimed a champion title in the men’s air pistol event, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian scored 239.9 points in 24 shots to surpass Russia’s Igor Sheludyakov by 0.9 points. Bronze went to Russia’s Daniil Soloviev. Competing in the final were two more Belarusian athletes: Vladislav Demesh placed 6^th, Nikita Kovalyonok – eighth.

Earlier, Ivan Kazak paired with Zoya Dasko claimed gold in the mixed event.
