Belarus, Russia sign agreements on Beltransgaz sale, gas supplies

MOSCOW, 25 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia have signed an agreement on the sale of Beltransgaz to Russian Gazprom and the contracts on the volume and terms of Russian gas supplies to and transit via belarus in 2012-2014, BelTA has learnt.

The documents were signed at the session of the Supreme State Council of the Union State in Moscow at the presence of the Presidents of Belarus and Russia Alexander Lukashenko and Dmitry Medvedev.

The two countries signed an intergovernmental agreement to extend the Government of Belarus a state export credit for the construction of a nuclear power plant on the territory of Belarus.

Belarusian Auto Works and Mechel Company signed a cooperation agreement.

In addition, the parties signed an agreement on the procedure for monitoring the availability and targeted use of military products supplied within the framework of the treaty on the development of military-technical cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation of 10 December 2009.
