WARSAW, 12 February (BelTA) – Foreign Minister of Belarus Sergei Martynov and his Polish counterpart Radoslaw Sikorski have signed an agreement regulating travels of citizens of frontier regions, BelTA has learnt.
Under the agreement, cross-border procedures will be eased for Belarusian and Polish citizens who have permanently resided in the frontier regions for at least three years. These citizens will be able to stay in the frontier regions of the other state up to 90 days within half a year. Frontier regions are the administrative territories located within up to 50 kilometers from the Belarusian-Polish border.
Besides, Sergei Martynov and Radoslaw Sikorski discussed topical issues of the Belarus-Poland cooperation and the Belarus-EU dialogue.
