Belarus’ Halkina wins silver at Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Sofia

MINSK, 14 September (BelTA) – Katsiaryna Halkina of Belarus clinched silver at the 2018 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria, BelTA has learned.

The leader of the Belarusian national team scored a total of 18,900 points with the Clubs. Dina Averina of Russia took gold with the total of 19,000 points (her third individual gold of the competitions). Bronze went to her sister Arina Averina (18,850 points).

Young Belarusian star Anastasia Salos finished fifth in the Individual Ribbon Event. Alina Gornosko is out on the competitions due to an injury.

Katsiaryna Halkina won silver at the 2017 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Pesaro.
