All the issues outlined by Alexander Lukashenko at the beginning of the meeting were discussed in detail. The leadership of the Belarus President Administration put forward proposals regarding the development of a new system of work with people’s petitions. The main requirement of the head of state was to listen to people, to see the trends, and to respond to them, the spokesperson said.

The president was also informed about the first results of the labor and executive discipline inspections in the state apparatus. This work will be continued. The participants of the meeting also discussed the personnel policy and the work of mass media.

Apart from that, the president was informed about the implementation of strategic projects.

BelTA reported earlier that the agenda of the session included such issues as the personnel policy, the prestige and status of civil service. At the beginning of the government conference Alexander Lukashenko said that there are certain problems with the executive and labor discipline and in the work with people’s petitions. “I want to warn you that the decisions we are making here should be irrevocably fulfilled. There will be no chance to kick around ideas and put them on the back burner,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.

According to the head of state, such meetings with the high-ranking officials of the Belarus President Administration will be held on a regular basis, for example, once in two months. They will focus on urgent issues which require the president’s attention. The event was also attended by State Secretary of the Security Council Stanislav Zas and Head of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate Viktor Sheiman.
