MINSK, 14 July (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Minister for European Neighborhood and the Americas) Wendy Morton have discussed the invigoration of Belarusian-British economic cooperation over the phone. The phone call was arranged upon the initiative of the British side, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamics of development of Belarusian-British trade and economic cooperation. They discussed ways to step it up in the future. Opinions about progress of the presidential election campaign in Belarus were exchanged.
Vladimir Makei invited Wendy Morton to visit Belarus, including for the sake of bilateral consultations, as soon as the epidemic situation allows it.
