MINSK, 24 December (BelTA) – Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Venezuelan Ambassador Jose Boggiano Pericchi who presented his credentials to the head of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

During the meeting, it was noted that the relations between Belarus and Venezuela have a high level of mutual trust and are strategic in nature.

The parties also exchanged views on a wide range of issues of the Belarusian-Venezuelan cooperation. Considerable attention was paid to the development of trade, economic, sci-tech and cultural interaction.
