MINSK, 8 December (BelTA) – A delegation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) led by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Mohammed Gargash will pay a visit to Minsk on 14-16 December, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told reporters on 8 December.

According to Dmitry Mironchik, the visit will be held as part of the agreements reached during the talks between the President of Belarus and the UAE authorities in October-November 2016. The foreign delegation will also comprise UAE Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Trade Mohammed Sharaf, representatives of the UAE ministries, agencies and big companies.

The program of the visit will include the 3^rd meeting of the joint intergovernmental committee on cooperation chaired by the Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs and the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will play host to the second meeting of the Belarusian-UAE business council.

Belarus attaches high significance to the forthcoming visit of the UAE delegation, which is viewed to help strengthen the agreements reached at the high and supreme levels and determine the prospects for further building up of mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, investment, science, healthcare, culture and tourism.
