MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) - A regular round of talks to secure peaceful settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine is underway in Minsk, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Minsk is expected to host a regular meeting of the trilateral contact group on Ukraine on 18 April. The talks of the working groups are already under way in the Belarusian capital.

The previous talks on Ukraine were held in the Belarusian capital on 4 April. The parties continued the discussion of matters related to the exchange of detainees, considered further steps necessary to restore the operation of the mobile network Vodafone-Ukraine in certain areas of Donetsk and Lugansk regions and other issues.
