State Border Committee: Over 8,300 Ukrainian citizens arrived in Belarus in May

MINSK, 1 June (BelTA) - In May 2026, more than 8,300 Ukrainian citizens entered Belarus, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.

Over the past month, 8,382 Ukrainian citizens arrived in the Republic of Belarus from Ukrainian territory: 10 via the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, 7,449 in transit through Poland, 864 through Lithuania, and 59 through Latvia.

In total, since the beginning of 2026, 36,721 Ukrainian citizens have entered the country: 26 via the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, 32,692 in transit through Poland, 3,819 through Lithuania, and 184 through Latvia.
