Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs pleased with negotiations with Belarus

LJUBLJANA, 8 July (BelTA) – The Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs highly appreciates results of the negotiations with Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna, BelTA learned from Ada Filip Slivnik, Head of the Department for Eastern Europe and Central Asia in the Directorate for Bilateral Relations and European Affairs of the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the source, during the visit of the Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs to Ljubljana and negotiations in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the sides discussed a wide range of matters concerning Belarusian-Slovenian cooperation in political and economic spheres. Close attention was paid to preparations for the fifth session of the Belarusian-Slovenian intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation and a business forum. Both events are scheduled to take place in Minsk in September.

According to Ada Filip Slivnik, Belarusian-Slovenian cooperation develops very well. “Our bilateral ties were established back in the Soviet period when the two countries understood each other well. Now we live in different conditions but mutual understanding between our states and nations still stays very high.
