According to the source, during the visit of the Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs to Ljubljana and negotiations in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the sides discussed a wide range of matters concerning Belarusian-Slovenian cooperation in political and economic spheres. Close attention was paid to preparations for the fifth session of the Belarusian-Slovenian intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation and a business forum. Both events are scheduled to take place in Minsk in September.

According to Ada Filip Slivnik, Belarusian-Slovenian cooperation develops very well. “Our bilateral ties were established back in the Soviet period when the two countries understood each other well.
