MINSK, 31 March (BelTA) – A Belarusian delegation led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Valentin Rybakov will visit Nigeria and Ghana on 4-7 April, BelTA learned from Dmitry Mironchik, Head of the Information Office, Press Secretary of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on 31 March.
The delegation will comprise representatives of Belarusian companies, including MAZ, MTZ, and Gomselmash. The agenda of the visit will include the discussion of the trade and economic cooperation of Belarus with Nigeria and Ghana, the development of the legal framework, the strengthening of cooperation with African partners in international organizations.
The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Nigeria will hold a regular round of consultations. Valentin Rybakov plans to meet with representatives of the Nigerian ministries and departments, and also the Honorary Consuls of Belarus in Nigeria and Nigerian businessmen.
The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Ghana are expected to sign a memorandum of cooperation and hold a round of ministerial consultations. The Belarusian delegation will also hold talks with representatives of ministries and businessmen.
