Rumas sends greetings to Medvedev on occasion of Belarus-Russia Unity Day

MINSK, 2 April (BelTA) – Belarus Prime Minister Sergei Rumas sent greetings to Russian head of government Dmitry Medvedev on the occasion of the Day of Unity between the Peoples of Russia and Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.

“The Union State project has yielded tangible benefits for our countries. Together, we have achieved considerable successes in implementing a coherent economic policy, developing a common humanitarian space, strengthening interregional links, ensuring social rights and guarantees for citizens of the two states,” the message of greetings reads.

Sergei Rumas expressed confidence that thanks to the effective cooperation the governments of Belarus and Russia will continue to find mutually acceptable solutions to all issues on the bilateral and integration agendas.
