MINSK, 13 August (BelTA) – During his working trip to Ukraine Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs met with head of the Odessa Oblast administration Mikhail Saakashvili on 13 August, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
According to the source, the sides discussed priorities of economic cooperation and the role of regions in the development of Belarusian-Ukrainian dialogue, prospects of interaction in the sphere of logistics and transport. The sides also reviewed possibilities of raising the transit of Belarusian cargoes via Ukraine.
Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin and advisor of the Ukrainian president Ruslan Demchenko also took part in the negotiations.
