Rigoni: PACE ready for dialogue with Belarus

STRASBOURG, 22 April (BelTA) - PACE is ready for dialogue with Belarus, rapporteur on Belarus Andrea Rigoni said during the hearing in the PACE Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy on 21 April, BelTA has learned.

"We are ready for dialogue with you, we are open for this. It is important to lay the foundations for the dialogue. Our Committee could help with this,” Andrea Rigoni said.

The hearing was attended by representatives of the Belarusian Parliament and the civil society.

As was reported earlier, Andrea Rigoni was in Belarus on a visit from 24 to 27 February.
