MINSK, 27 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko met with Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev on 27 August, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.

In an informal setting the heads of state discussed a number of matters in continuation of the talks that began in Minsk the previous day as part of the events relating to the meeting of the presidents of the Customs Union member states, Ukraine, and high-ranking representatives of the European Union.

Topical problems on the bilateral agenda of the day were touched upon.

Alexander Lukashenko thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for his unwavering friendly attitude towards the Republic of Belarus. Alexander Lukashenko said the attitude reflects the genuinely partnering nature of cooperation between the two countries.

The Belarus President personally saw off the Kazakhstan President in the National Airport Minsk.
