MINSK, 16 April (BelTA) – Matters concerning the organization of the state visit of China President Xi Jinping to Belarus were discussed in Beijing, representatives of the Embassy of Belarus in China told BelTA.
The organization of the visit was in spotlight as Head of the Belarus President Administration Alexander Kosinets visited the People’s Republic of China on 8-11 April. The delegation of the Belarus President Administration had been invited to visit Beijing by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
Alexander Kosinets met with Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Liu Yunshan, Deputy Chairman of the All-China Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Wang Jiarui, Vice Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Zhou Li, and a number of executives of China’s largest banks and corporations.
The sides talked over matters concerning preparations for the state visit of China President Xi Jinping to Belarus in May and a large number of matters on the bilateral cooperation agenda, including the expansion of the political dialogue and stronger cooperation in trade, economic, credit, investment, and humanitarian spheres.
