MINSK, 19 May (BelTA) - Minsk hosted the Belarus-Sweden ministerial consultations on 19 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"The parties discussed the whole range of issues of the bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Kingdom of Sweden, the strengthening of cooperation in the political, trade and economic affairs and also within the Belarus-EU framework. Before the consultations, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Belarus Martin Aberg presented copies of his credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs,” the press service informed.
At the consultations Belarus’ delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna, the Swedish delegation by director general for political affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Thorbjorn Solstrom.
