MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) – Poland’s Healthcare Minister Konstanty Radziwill is expected to pay an official visit to Belarus on 20-21 April, BelTA has learned from the press service of the Healthcare Ministry of Belarus.
The Polish guest is set to meet with Belarusian Healthcare Minister Valery Malashko to discuss cooperation in healthcare, medical education and science, pharmaceutics, cross-border cooperation.
The program of the visit will include tours around the Alexandrov National Cancer Centre of Belarus where Konstanty Radziwill will get familiar with the Belarusian tertiary care. The Polish healthcare minister will also visit the Belarusian State Medical University to discuss cooperation in medical education.
The healthcare ministries of the two countries are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding in the area of healthcare, medicine and medical science. In particular, the document envisages the exchange of information and experience in the implementation of state investment projects in the healthcare system, medical treatment in emergencies, and also assistance in cooperation and establishment of direct ties between the medical universities of the two countries in the area of medical research and education.
