MINSK, 10 March (BelTA) – Poland will issue free visas to Belarusian children and young people, BelTA learned from the website of the Polish diplomatic mission in Belarus.
Without waiting for the EU-Belarus visa facilitation agreement to take effect, the Polish minister of foreign affairs signed a resolution on 26 February to waive Schengen visa fees for Belarusian citizens aged 6-18 and young people under 25 who take part in seminars, conferences, cultural or education events organized by non-for-profit institutions.
“The zero fee will be valid in Belarus through 31 December 2020. Applicants shall not be exempted from fees when applying for a review of the Schengen or national visa decision ” the embassy said.
