MOSCOW, 5 March (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Russian Federation Igor Petrishenko met with the famous Russian politician, Academician, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OAO RTI Yevgeny Primakov, BelTA learned from the press service of the diplomatic mission.

"The sides discussed the ways of promoting Belarusian-Russian relations, enhancing trade and economic cooperation, and promoting the integration processes within the framework of the Union State and the Eurasian Economic Union," the press service noted.

The parties had an interested exchange of views on the most pressing issues on the international agenda.
